Who is Rebecca G?

Rebecca G is a freelance beauty researcher, writer and educator with over twelve years industry experience.
Rebecca began her academic career studying Cosmetic Science (Beauty Science) at London College of Fashion (LCF). It is here where her love of science and interest in the human fascination with beauty propelled her academic successes.
Her final major project at university investigated the link between parabens, cosmetics and breast cancer. She graduated with first class honours and received the LCF Award of Science for her research.
After graduating, her main area of interest continued to surround the toxicity of ingredients used in cosmetic formulations, and her most recent projects explore the effects of beauty on human behavior.
She has contributed to a number of academic and industry research, and holds a masters level PGCE in post-compulsory education.
Rebecca’s  background in beauty science and research means she can write clear, entertaining articles and blogs on a variety of beauty topics for both a professional and lay audience.
Passionate about life and often sings mid sentence, she is known to wear a smile and throw peace signs in the air.
This blog is her corner of the internet to share her latest musings. From industry news, expert advice and products reviews to debates on the psychology and economics of beauty.
Based in Cheshire, Rebecca is available for research, writing and consultancy commissions.
